Dr. Hayhoe is one of the most prominent and well-respected climate scientists and communicators in the country. She has been named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People and Fortune’s 50 Greatest World Leaders. As a Professor at Texas Tech University, her research focuses on developing new ways to quantify the potential impacts of human activities at the regional scale. As the host of the PBS series Global Weirding, the founder and CEO of ATMOS Research, and a lead author for the U.S. National Climate Assessment, she provides relevant information to a broad range of stakeholders and the public about how climate change will affect our lives.
